Full-Day Ephesus Tour

Overview

Your first stop will often be at the ancient city of Ephesus, one of the most well-preserved archaeological
sites from the Roman period. You'll explore the ancient streets, marvel at well-preserved structures like the
Library of Celsus, the Grand Theatre, and the Temple of Hadrian, and learn about the city's history,
architecture, and daily life during the Roman era.
Following your visit to Ephesus, the tour may take you to the site of the Temple of Artemis, which is
considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. While little remains of the temple today, your
guide will explain its historical significance and its connection to the ancient city of Ephesus.
You will have lunch included at a local restaurant, offering a taste of Turkish cuisine.
After lunch, you'll head to the House of the Virgin Mary. This is a significant pilgrimage site for
Christians, as it's believed to be the final residence of the Virgin Mary. You'll have the opportunity to explore
the peaceful surroundings and learn about the religious and historical importance of the site.
At the end of the tour, you'll be transported back to your hotel, usually in the late afternoon.
